If you are looking for that hard to find part, a unique Christmas gift for the car enthusiast in your life, or you need to clear out your garage, come to the Petersen Automotive Museum Garage Sale and Swap Meet on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Filling the upper floors of the Petersen Museum's parking structure, the event will feature a mix of items and vehicles from the Museum, along with a car sale corral and vendor area for those looking to sell vehicles and automobile or motorcycle related items.

Petersen Museum vehicles will be sold in a NO RESERVE silent auction, and will include vehicles you might not expect to find, including a 1934 Chevrolet 2-door Coach project that would make an excellent restoration or street rod build, a very clean 1978 Chevrolet Chevette, a 1984 Chrysler Executive Sedan (limousine), a 1973 Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL formerly owned by entertainer, Danny Kaye, a 1983 Plymouth Colt formerly owned and decorated by local Los Angeles aspiring celebrity Dennis Woodruff, a Yamaha XS1100SF motorcycle, and a stylishly retro 1987 Puch Sport Moped!
Here’s a sample of some of the items that are coming to the Garage Sale and Swap Meet:

Petersen Automotive Museum vehicles plus numerous other vehicles for sale in the Car Sale Corral!
