Coming up this March 22 is another gathering of Alfa Romeo Chili Lovers and this year we are adding another great taste treat. Yes, folks, you now have the chance to bring your old, or new family recipe for...Cornbread:that favorite mouth watering, easy to make and unforgettable experience for all to taste. As a reminder, there are three categories of chili to consider; Red, Green and Vegetarian. The list is open on the Cornbread. When I was a child back home on the farm, what we now call 'cornbread' was known as 'egg bread' because in making 'real' cornbread, you did not use an egg, just corn meal, a little salt and water. I know, doesn't sound real good, but it did fill a hole and give you sustenance. So dust off that cast iron pan, give it a good coat of grease, mix up a batch of corn meal and ???? Then bring it out to share with your favorite chili.
